Basically, 5g is the 5th generation standard in technology in cellular network. the 5g network works in the same as the other networks. The working process is same in all the generations. All of them are based upon the same kind of process. There are cell site that divide their territory into sectors. and in these sectors the encoded data is send in radio wave forms.there are network backbones which are connected with the cell sites through a wired/wireless backhaul connection.

 

  There are some parts of the computer network that internally joins fragments from different networks,then provide a way of exchange of information between the Local Area Networks or sub-networks, such kind of parts are called backbone/core network. Basically in simple language backhaul are the connectors between the core network/backbone network and the LANs and sub-network. These backhauls may be wired or wireless.

The first difference between the 4g and 5g is speed. It's being predicted that the speed of 5g network will be 100 times faster that the 4g which will surely make a great difference. the second and a major difference is that the network latency in 5g is pretty much lesser than that of the 4g. And this decrease in network latency will encourage the world of virtual reality and many modern technology along with some great gaming technology also.

 

The next considerable change is that there will be more capacity for more no. of device to stay connected at the same time, the interference in network will become lesser and reliability will be increased as compared to 4g network. As always happens, when any new generation network launches,it requires new and advance devices that fits to the new generation,the same thing will be continue in this 4g to 5g conversion also. That means that we need to upgade our technology to higher level that is suitable for 5g as we upgraded them  while transferring our 3g network to 4g network.

Several mobile companies like samsung, oneplus, huawei, lg, motorola etc have even upgraded their newest launches to 5g. They are preparing for the evolution that's going to take place in the telecom industry as well as in the technology. If we talk about the preparation of telecom companies towards 5g, they are constantly and competitively trying to improve their technology. Its being said that the 4g towers can be used to radiate the 5g network and avail the service for people.

So talking about 5g seems like a sci-fi and futuristic technology, right? If you also thinking so then I would love to share with you that we are living in this future friends and not since starting of 2020, we are in the future of technology,5G since April 2019. In April,2019 South Korea adopted 5G in a large scale and after South Korea countries like China and America have also started 5g in their countries competitive way. Actually this competition is healthy for all of us cause we are getting better in technological field and several new discoveries are also been done due to such kind of competition. This is actually what I think about such kind of competition in the technological field. What do you think about the competition in technological field? If we talk about the progress in 5G in other countries like India, 5G technology will be available in India in very less time as being said. So we are going to see the future of internet and telecommunication in few time. Its also being said that JIO and GOOGLE have collaborated to bring a new era in the smartphones and many also say that they are developing a smart phone with great features along with 5G capability. Its also being aid that they are going to provide the phone in very low price so that everyone can get connected to the internet.The details about the collaboration that we just talked about we don't know that whether they are true or not. But the major truth in all of this is that we are going to experience 5G in India very soon and I am waiting for it since 1 year. Are you excited for 5G?

Firstly we should not ask, "will the 5G replace wi-fi or not?" We should better ask that can 5G replace wi-fi cause here we are going to talk about the capability of 5G to replace wi-fi . According to Mika Sharp(CEO at Cloud Street),replacing home broadband service is one of the most obvious application of 5G, he also said that 5G will mot probably replace ethernet but it will not probably be able to replace fiber backhaul in near future. *

As we have discussed, Speed,lesser latency,better connections are some of the awesome features of 5G. Best part is that its about 100 times faster than 4G and the latency is very low that will surely enhance our technology.

 

There are certain disadvantages of 5G that we need to fix or do something to solve them.

• First problem is that obstructions between the network receiver and network transmitter will affect the connectivity.
• The costs at the initial stage of development are very high.
• People in the urban areas will no doubt get benefit from this but in the initial stages people in the rural area will not be able to get the benefits of it.
• In some cases the download speed seems to be 1.8-1.9 gbps but the uploading speed is very slow about 100 mbps.
• This technology will affect the battery of cellphones. The batteries in smartphones being used now are not compatible enough with the  technology. So we have to enhance our current technology
